Design
Damalia is a small publishing house of Creole furniture and decoration. Publishing in design is like publishing in books: to be at the origin of projects, models, tests and to gather talents to give birth to objects.
Their workshop is located in Petit-Bourg, where Kessen Poitou and Mattis Esnault strive to combine traditional and modern know-how.
“When I returned to Guadeloupe, I realized that most of the furniture sold here was imported. Even though our natural environment is rich in raw materials and precious woods like mahogany and mahogany. Even though our craftsmen have immense expertise in cabinetmaking.” Kessen Poitou, Co-founder Damalia
